Bruno Santos was born in 1999 in Entroncamento, Santarém. He started studying trumpet at the age of 9 in Banda Sociedade Velha Filarmónica Riachense.
He studied at the conservatory "Choral Phydellius" (Torres Novas) with professor Luís Carreira. In the year 2014 he joined the "Escola Profissional Metropolitana" (Lisbon) in the class of professor Filipe Coelho. He won the "Young Musicians Prize" in 2015, having played as a soloist with Gulbenkian Orchestra.
In 2017 he started his bachelor at the "Escola Superior de Música de Lisboa" in the class of professors Stephen Mason and David Burt.
Currently he studies at the "Hochschule für Musik und Theater "Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy" in the class of professor Guido Segers.
At the moment Bruno is supported by a scholarship from the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation.
