Isabel Martínez García

Isabel Martínez was born in Beas de Segura (Jaén, Spain) in 1997.

She started her musical studies at the Conservatorio Profesional de Música “Ángel Barrios” in Granada in 2008.

In parallel, she studied with Javier Giner Gutiérrez in Churriana de la Vega (Granada, Spain). In 2016 she was admitted into the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Stuttgart to study a bachelor´s degree with the Prof. Christian Lampert (Assistants Wolfgang Wipfler, Carsten Duffin, Philipp Römer, Horst Ziegler).

She was part of the Akademie des NDR-Elbphilharmonie Orchesters and Staatstheather Kassel. She has received classes from various prestigious Hornists such as Eric Terwilliger, Bruno Schneider, Fergus Mcwillian, Froydis Ree Wekre, Thomas Hauschild, Will Sanders, among others. She has played with several orchestras such as NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchester, Symphoniker Hamburg, Orquesta Ciudad de Granada, Heilbronner Sinfonie Orchester, Joven Orquesta Nacional de España, Joven Orquesta de Andalucía, Junge Oper Stuttgart, Orquesta Filarmonía de Granada. She has been conducted by great professionals such as Alan Gilbert, Christoph von Dohnányi, Mirga Gražinytė-Tyla and Krzysztof Urbański.
