Martino Moruzzi

Martino Moruzzi was born on August 9, 1996, in 2010 after enrolling in the Conservatory G. Nicolini of Piacenza under the leadership of M. Paolo Beltramini, graduated in 2016 with the highest grades. He has already won numerous national and international awards: second prize of the National Instruments Competition: "City of Giussano" in the wind instruments category until he was eighteen years old, the first prize of the 15th edition of the "Etruscan Riviera" Competition They appear in the Chamber Music section, first overall prize of the National Instrument Competition: "City of Giussano" in the special category Chamber Music. During his academic career he attended several Masterclasses with: Andréas Sunden, Calogero Palermo, Shirley Brill, Davide Lattuada, Paolo Beltramini, Wenzel Fuchs, Martin Fröst and Lorenzo Coppola. In 2015 he studied at the Accademia Chiagiana of Siena as an actual student, under the guidance of Alessandro Carbonare. In 2017 he won the audition to study at the Academy of the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra (VSO). From 2018 he is studying in Stockholm at the Royal College Music of Stockholm (KMH) attending the Clarinet Master Orchestra with M. Hermann Stefannson, in 2020 pursued his master’s degree. Now he’s studying at the same university with Andreas Sundén attending the Advance Master in Clarinet. From 2016 to 2018 he studied with Calogero Palermo and Davide Lattuada at the:” Accademia Scatola Sonora” in Rome. He has played with many internationally renowned conductors and soloists such as: Marco Pierobon, Susanne Bernhard, Bramwell Tovey, Lorenzo Coppola, Davide Cabassi, Conrad Tao, Thomas Sanderling, Karolin Wiedmann, Kristina Opolais, Markus Poschner, Victoria Mullova, Marin Alsop, Vasily Petrenko, Stéphane Denève and Daniele Gatti. He has played as substituted with the chamber orchestra of Mantova, the Spira Mirabilis Orchestra, the Stockholm Opera Orchestra, OSI-orchestra of Svizzera-italiana and the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra (SRSO) as a member with LaFil the Philharmonic of Milan. Since 2019 he is an effective member of the EUYO, European Union Youth Orchestra. In 2020 he won the position for the Academy of the Chamber Orchestra of Europe.
