Cristina Cazac was born in Moscow in 2003. She started playing the violin and the piano at the age of 4 and she studied in Conservatorio “Arrigo Boito” of Parma with Alberta Stefani. Currently she’s studying at the Universität Der Künste Berlin with Prof. Peter Rainer.
She studied also under the supervision of Sergey Krylov, Dimitri Shishlov and Georgy Levinov at the “Accademia del Ridotto” in Stradella (Pavia). Cristina participated at many competitions as a soloist (both with the violin and the piano) and also in chamber performance, like the European Music Competition “Città di Moncalieri”, the International Competition “Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart”, the International Music Competition “Gaetano Zinetti”, the International Music Competition “Antonio Salieri”, and was awarded with 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes. She attended several masterclasses in solo and chamber performance, taught by professors Ilya Grubert, Sergey Krylov, Mihaela Costea, Dalia Seselgiene and Ivan Rabaglia, among others.
She performed as a soloist with the “Arturo Toscanini” Philharmonic Orchestra with the director Świętosław Moszegow and with the LandesJugendSinfonieOrchestra Hessen with the director Nicolás Pasquet. She plays a violin by A. Leicht. Since 2020 she is an EUYO member.
