Ann Meeta Teppo

Ann Meeta Teppo was born in 1996 in Keila, Estonia to a family of musicians, being the fifth of nine children.
She began her musical education when she was four years old at Keila Music School, continuing later in Tallinn Music High School. Ann Meeta is currently studying for a master degree at the Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre under the guidance of prof Mari Tampere-Bezrodny.
She has several achievements both as a soloist and a chamber musician. In 2017 she was awarded 1st prize in the solo category at the XV International Competition Luigi Zanuccoli in Italy. She has been concertmaster of many orchestras such as the Symphony Orchestra of Estonian Academy of Music and Theatre, Virumaa Chamber Orchestra, Estonian National Youth Symphony Orchestra and more. Ann Meeta has participated in masterclasses with renowned violinists Movses Pogossian, Yair Kless, Alexander Vinnitsky, Anna-Liisa Bezrodny and others.
In 2016, in collaboration with pianist Lea Valiulina and cellist Ruslan Petrov she received 2nd prize at the XIX International Competition Pietro Argento in Italy. The trio has performed in Spain, Italy, England, Russia, Latvia, Finland, and Estonia.
