Lucrezia Costanzo

Born in Catania in 2001, she began her violin studies at the age of 9 with M. Alessandro Cortese. In 2012 she was admitted to the Istituto Superiore di studi musicali "Vincenzo Bellini" in Catania with full marks. Later she moved to Modena to continue her studies with M. Stefano Pagliani.
Currently she is enrolled in the Bruno Maderna Conservatory of Cesena. She has participated in several solo masterclasses: with Shlomo Mintz, Ilya Grubert, Francesco De Angelis. She has played as an orchestral for renowned soloists such as Martha Argerich, Beatrice Rana, Javier Perianes, Daniel Rivera, Håkan Hardenberger, Anna Kravtchenko, Daniele Petralia, Stephen Vaglica, Dimitra Theodosiou, Giovanna Casolla, Marcello Giordani, Simone Alaimo; with directors such as Marin Alsop, Gianandrea Noseda, Donato Renzetti, Alessandro Cedrone, James Meena, Gianna Fratta, Gianluca Marcianò, Mariano Patti, Aldo Sisillo, Angelo Gabrielli, Antonino Manuli and collaborated with directors Enrico Stinchelli and Alessandro Cecchi Paone. She played at several Festival like the Opera Star Festival città di Taormina and Stresa Festival. She has played in collaboration with the Massimo Bellini Theater in Catania on several occasions. She played as a guest in the Philharmonic Orchestra of the Teatro Regio in Turin. She won the Absolute First Prize in about 20 national and international competitions. She has won several auditions for regional, national and European orchestras. Since 2020 she is a member of the prestigious European Union Youth Orchestra EUYO and in the same year she won the audition for Brandenburger Symphoniker in Brandenburg.
