Belén Pérez Carreras

Born in 1993, Madrid, Spain, Belén started her violin studies at the age of four with the teacher Isako Yoshimura in the Suzuki School of Madrid. She continued her musical education with Zenon Díaz and Rolando Prusak.

Her artistic activities have made her to perform in halls like Teatro de la Zarzuela (Madrid), Escuela Superior de Canto (Madrid), Auditorio de El Escorial (Madrid), Teatros del Canal (Madrid), Auditorio de Peñíscola (Alicante), Concertgebouw (Ámsterdam), Congrescentrum Orpheus (Apeldoorn), Philarmonie Haarlem, El Lienzo (Ávila), Auditorio de Zaragoza, Musikverien (Viena), De Doelen (Rotterdam), TivoliVredenburg (Utrecht) among others. As an orchestra member she has participated in the Youth Orchestra of Madrid (Joven Orquesta de la Comunidad de Madrid), the Youth Orchestra of Castellón (Joven Orquesta Sinfónica de Castellón), OSAV, Nationaal Jeugdorkest (NJO).

She has been selected as principal more than once. She was selected to be concertmaster of the National Young Orchestra of The Netherlands (2020). She studied two years in the Conservatory of Music of Zaragoza (2011-2013). She developed her chamber music skills with the Quiroga Quartet. She continued her musical studies in the university Alfonso X El Sabio in Madrid under the tutelage of Frederieke Saeijs (2013-2015).

She has participated in instrumental courses such as Freiburg-Oberkirch course, Forum Musikae, Academie Internationale d'ete de Nice, Orford Music Academy with Mauricio Fuks and Borislava Iltcheva. She was selected for accessing to the Bachelor’s Degree of the Conservatory of Amsterdam and the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague. She has got her Bachelor’s Degree at the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague with the violin teacher Ilona Sie Dhian Ho. (2019)
