Konrad Probst was born in Freyung, Germany in 1999. He started playing the horn at the age of 8 under the guidance of Dr. Christian Hörburger and later received lessons from Jochen Löflath and Ulrich Haider. In 2018, he began his studies with Prof. Johannes Hinterholzer and Prof. Carsten Duffin in Munich. Konrad got valuable musical impulses from Prof. Wolgang Gaag, Prof. Francois Bastian, Prof. Eric Terwilliger, Prof. Christian Lampert and Prof. Raimund Zell in several masterclasses.
During his studies in Munich he also played as a substitute in the Niederbayerische Philharmonie and the Polizeiorchester Bayern. He was part of productions of the Kammerspiele München and the Deutsches Theater München.
He gained experience in several regional youth orchestras and musical projects. He received the cultural sponsorship award of the district Freyung-Grafenau together with his two brothers for their musical activities in 2018.
Since 2020 he is a scholarship holder of the Cusanuswerk and in 2021 he became a member of EUYO.
